About

Founder. Host. Dealer advocate.

The short version: I sell software to the people I used to sell cars next to — and I interview the best of them every week.

Zach Klempf is the founder and CEO of Selly Automotive, a CRM and ILM platform built specifically for independent and Buy Here Pay Here dealerships, and the host of the Used Car Dealer Podcast.

Zach started his career on the showroom floor selling cars, where he saw first-hand how underserved independent dealers were by the software built for franchise stores. He founded Selly Automotive to close that gap, and today works with dealerships across the United States.

Through the Used Car Dealer Podcast, Zach interviews dealers, operators, and industry executives about what is actually working in used-vehicle retail — from inventory sourcing and reconditioning to digital retailing and BHPH operations. His commentary and bylines appear regularly in automotive retail publications.
