Zach Klempf is a keynote speaker, exited SaaS founder and host of the Used Car Dealer Podcast. He built Selly Automotive into a CRM used by hundreds of dealerships and sold it to private equity by 30.
Age 19
Started selling cars while studying at Emory University, and noticed independent dealers were running million-dollar businesses on paper and spreadsheets.
Age 23 Founded Selly
Launched Selly Automotive, a CRM built for independent and buy-here-pay-here dealerships. Cold-called the first hundred customers himself.
2013 to 2022 The build
Grew Selly to hundreds of dealerships across North America through the Blue Startups accelerator, a lot of trade show miles and 100+ published articles.
2022 The exit
Selly joined AutoManager, backed by New York private equity firm The Beekman Group, in a multi-million dollar deal. Zach rolled his equity in and became Chief Strategy Officer and a board member.
Today
Hosts the Used Car Dealer Podcast, and keynotes industry events. Based in San Francisco.
